During our time in Tohoku, we had many chances to visit temporary housing. While most of them are the standard/typical aluminum module type, below are a couple that were done by designers.

Went by this temporary near Kamaishi, and saw this project by 山本理顕設計工場, and 2 weeks later, the outside is completely done! Japanese speed.
Before we left Nagaoka, we found this comprehensive book that documented all the temporary housings that were built after the CHU-TSUE earthquake in Niigata Prefecture. Since the book were not for sell and the only they had at the community center, our colleague Ting scanned the whole book. I believe that knowledge should be shared, so grab as you wish. Mind you that it’s all in Japanese ;)
